SPR 31-08-14 391st Composite Squadron Group III Texas Wing Civil Air Patrol Dallas
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DALLAS- Capt Mark Holub presented promotions and awards for the 391st Composite Squadron on August 25th. Promotions included: Aditi Panvelkar to C/SMSgt, Henry Chu to C/MSgt, Joseph Krupa to C/TSgt, Katherine Jovicich to C/TSgt, Matthew Dykes to C/SSgt, and Spencer McGreer to C/Amn. 2nd Lt Omer Celtik received his ceremonial wings after completing the CAP Form 5, Pilot Flight Evaluation.
C/SMSgt Luke Schlenker, who serves as Cadet Commander, presented
to the cadets a new opportunity.
C/SMSgt Schlenker explained that the last year has brought exciting growth to
the squadron, among adult senior members as well as the cadet side. The cadet list has expanded from
approximately 7 members to the current count of 20 cadet members. The
impressive jump has opened up opportunities for Leadership positions among the
cadet members and C/SMSgt Schlenker challenged them to analyze their personal
experience and goals within CAP and to apply for one of the available positions. The line staff positions include: Element Leaders,
Flight Sergeant, First Sergeant, and Flight Commander. Resumes will be accepted
for cadet leadership positions from current Dallas Composite Squadron members
and interviews will begin on September 8, 2014. Assignments are expected to be
announced in the near future. |
