Highest number of hours flown in Group III

DALLAS- Congratulations to the 391st Composite Squadron, Group III, Texas Wing Civil Air Patrol for achieving well deserved honors as the squadron claimed first place in Group III for total number of hours flown in fiscal year 2012 which ended 30 September 2012. In an e-mail to the squadron members Lt Col Bobby Sides said "congratulations tp the pilots and aircrews for achieving this high mark. Despite maintenance and weather issues throughout the year you guys and gals came through with flying colors" he went on to remind the squadron that with a new year (fiscal year 2013 began 1 Oct) beginning there are new challenges ahead that won't make it easy to repeat next year but he was confident they would again give their 110% to achieve a new success".. 

Captain Andrew Theisman, Group III Operations officer, notified Colonel Sides of the squadron's outstanding success. just prior to the regular weekly meeting "not only was your squadron number one in Group III your Squadron was number four in the state of Texas. quiet an achievement considering the obstacles your men and women had to overcome." 

Lt. Colonel Russell Miller, Group III commander, offered his congratulations as well when he commented "Col Sides you and the squadron are to be congratulationed for a job 

well done. It proves to everyone what you can achieve with dedication an hard work . This achievement is one more reason your squadron is one of the fastest growing units in Group III".
