DALLAS- Another
evening replete with promotions and awards for the 391st Composite Squadron, Group III, Texas Wing of
the Civil Air Patrol. Squadron Commander
Lt Col Bob Sides commented, “This is one of the most gratifying meetings of the
New Year. It reflects not only the
interest in the Cadet program but the hard work and enthusiasm of the
individual cadets”.
Henry Chu was promoted to C/SrA, Michael Adams and Mattew Dykes to C/Amn, Luke Langlais to C/MSgt, and Zach Holub to C/CMSgt. Find Ribbons were awarded to Capt Wes Schlenker, 1st Lt Mark Holub and 1st Lt Servet Atbas. Encampment ribbons for attending Winter Encampment in Brownwood, Texas over the Christmas holiday school break were awarded to C/A1C Joe Krupa, C/SrA Henry Chu, and C/CMSgt Zach Holub. C/CMSgt Holub was awarded a second star as this was his third Encampment. Senior Members 1st Lt Lana Holub and 1st Lt Mark Holub were awarded Encampment Ribbons for attending as TAC Officers.
Senior Member Blanca Applewhite was awarded the Level I Membership Ribbon. A 2 year service ribbon was awarded to C/SrA Henry Chu. A 20 year Service Ribbon went to Lt Col James McCloud. Col McCloud presently serves as Emergency Services Officer for the Dallas Composite Squadron. Thank you, Col McCloud, for your dedication to the Civil Air Patrol! |
